The Aero Sekur Shooting Stars, the first all female parachute jump team to appear at Farnborough, will perform an impressive synchronised parachute jump to open the flying display on each day of the 2008 airshow.

Aero Sekur promotes developments at Farnborough International Airshow to include an engineering initiative in the field of UAV recovery comprising a combined parachute and airbag shock attenuation system.

Aero Sekur confirms its capabilities in the fields of personal protection, engineering and development through its participation in the European Protective Individual Defence ARMour (EPIDARM) consortium

Featured on the Aero Sekur Farnborough stand will be a SPacecrew Emergency Module (SPEM) display. The exhibit will illustrate Aero Sekur’s innovative use of inflatable heat shield technology to develop a new generation rescue system for orbiting astronauts.

Developments set to be detailed by Aero Sekur at Farnborough International Airshow include an emergency flotation system for helicopters. Designed to be deployed in the event of an over-water emergency, the system allows the crew to escape safely
